For those who are anxious about face to face meetings, we want to assure you we are not only complying with Federal and State regulations regarding social distancing and maintaining a safe, hygienic practice. But we also are:

• Exceeding Social Distancing Requirements.  
• For  your  and  our   staff‘s  safety  we  are  implementing  a  “one  in  one  out”  policy  to  further  exceed  current  guidelines.  That  is  we  will  simply  ask  you  to call  when  you  arrive  (46353534),   remain  in  your car  until  the  previous client  leaves  and  the  staff  comes  out  to  greet  you  and escort  you  in.
• Avoiding physical greetings such as handshakes.
• Conducting Appointments via Telehealth, Video Conferencing or Phone Call.
• Promoting good hand, sneeze and cough hygiene.
• Provision of alcohol based hand rub for all staff and clients.
• Regular cleaning and disinfection of surfaces that people may touch.
• Opening windows or adjusting air conditioning for best ventilation.
• All clients who have any sort of cold will be rescheduled.
• All clients will be temperature tested in the car park to ensure their compliance and that they do not have a temperature.

Together we are experiencing unprecedented times that not only have impacts on our Australian way of life, but we are witnessing world wide stress and change.  This global COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our health, our families, our community, our livelihoods, and of course the unique lifestyle that we all love as Queenslanders.

We want to reach out to you at this time to say we understand how you are feeling.  We understand that for many who were on the road to recovery with their mental health have been re-triggered.  We also realise that some are going through a financially tough situation and our thoughts are very much with you.  We all know there are families on the Darling Downs who have been impacted by the virus either directly or indirectly and we truly wish those people a fast and full recovery.

We would like to thank our amazing staff and professionals at this time who are on the front line serving for the benefit of our community. We also want to thank those Doctors, Psychiatrists, Health Care workers and other essential service providers who are working overtime to care for our community.  You are doing an amazing job and we are all very grateful to you.

During this time, we are looking to maintain clear communication channels to ensure that the Staff at Dr Sandra Henderson & Associates are totally committed to taking care of all clients safety in these changing times. We will be offering some new services and we look forward to telling you about those in future communication.  

As we manage this pandemic together, we look forward to keeping you updated and know that we always value your questions, concerns, ideas and feedback.
